How a host is ranked
- Participants brought to the board — not follower count
- Quarterly brackets advance the top of each league

What a finalist plays for
- Every finalist names a development project of their choosing
- A share of the crown is paid to it directly, in their name
- Set as a term of the published rules, not a handshake
Three semifinals, one every three months, leading into the finals. They are played for division records, not cash — the same way a sports season is played for a record and a seed. No payout during the season other than what creators earn hosting.

The Finals
Super Bowl week · the crowns
Division leaders are decided by category. Like the Oscars: the best performer in a category — most contests run, most paid out to their room — is that division's leader and qualifies for the finals. Every other creator keeps hosting all season; they simply are not in the finals for the big prize. Fifty categories, fifty leaders, three leagues.

The Icon crown reads $25,000,000 publicly — $15M to the host and $10M to the cause, both named on the night. Cause payments are made by Lock In directly to each organisation, in the winner's name, never passing through the winner, and set as a term of the published rules.
It builds all season
A set percentage of the proceeds from every qualifying competition goes into the season purse. Every night hosted feeds the crowns.
Lock In matches
The company adds its own matching contribution out of its retained share — never out of any player's pool.

$10,000,000 to the winner's cause
Of the $25,000,000 marquee crown, $10,000,000 is directed to the winner's nonprofit or hometown development project of their choosing — paid by Lock In directly to that organisation, in the winner's name, never passing through the winner. Set as a term of the published official rules, not a handshake. That is how the first one starts and how it ends.
